WORK ON HALE COMMUNITY ‘HUB’ WILL START THIS YEAR

 

Plans for the redevelopment of the former Hale Library site on Leigh Road and the creation of a new 6,000 sqft community ‘hub’, on Ashley Road, are expected to be submitted for planning in a matter of weeks following the completion of a comprehensive strategic plan by the three partners involved in the project; Hale Community Trust, Trafford Council and, homebuilder, Hillcrest Homes.…

The Hale Millennium Mosaic to be demolished this week.

The mosaic was built as a commemorative addition to the village as part of the millennium initiatives. Sadly the mosaic became a playground climbing structure and over time the mosaic tiles have been picked off causing the structure to become Hale’s eyesore.

This year the Hale Business Association is arranging the Hale Christmas Lights. Previously Trafford Council have been responsible for the lights and local businesses have donated towards the cost (£7,500).

Unfortunately Trafford Council have announced they will not be paying for any lights in Trafford this year so it is more important than ever that local businesses help their village ‘light’ up this Christmas by making a donation to the fund!…
